buildings, leasing, sales. As a Broker, I have worked for many professional clients, and influenced key improvements
to the community in which I worked.
My Projects included:
1. Instigator of the Foreign Trade Zone for the Lee County Port
Authority, and introduced my contacts at the Foreign Trade Zone board
leadership in Washington, D.C. to the Lee County Port Authority
management. I remained in service with the team to achieve the
acceptance of the filing for a Foreign Trade Zone in Lee County, which
expanded to include the surrounding counties served by the Zone.
2. Exclusive agent and negotiator for my clients to achieve successful
U.S.Postal Service Lease negotiations for the Southwest Florida
International Airport, bringing more efficient Air Mail service for
Southwest Florida. Until that time, the Air Mail was being trucked to
Tampa for air service.
3. Broker for the Rezoning of residential to medical land for Dr.
Manuel M. Pena, a local Plastic Surgeon, achieving the only exception
for this type of rezoning in the State of Florida. I helped Dr. Pena to
choose the team of professionals to accomplish the project over a
three-year time period, and navigated the political influencers and
community contacts in a positive public relations campaign until the day
of the successful vote by the Collier County Commissioners.
4. I accomplished many other projects for medical and business offices
in commercial leasing, including corporate residential relocations.
Served on Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) as a Director for 2 years during the transition to new technologies.
Also served as Communications Committee Chairperson and initiated the
basic format for the NABOR Intranet several years before the Intranet
Committee was formed, on which I also served at its inception.
